Welcome one and all! I hear dA is changing their name/ logo due to the mass amounts of idiots they let register. Okay, a bit too harsh? I think it needs to be said.

Is anyone else tired of seeing glamour shots and just trashy nudes on the front display page? I don't care if they're marked mature or not- this is a site that has a reputation for artwork, not pornographic material. With the >very*< insane ratio of art to what I'd class as porn on this site (although bad); in fact I don't even know why they do allow nudes. Quite frankly I think it should be banned because I'm tired of reporting, requesting and "informing" [ignorant] users on this site in relation to their "art". Argueably there is always material that is a. Either real art, or b. questionable art, but I'd caution to put a ratio that 30:1 pieces actually submitted to this site is seen as inappropriate in my eyes. Anyone catch my drift?

Let's not forget the 13 year olds who sign up to this site see a mature warning (Must be X age or older to view) and reregister to get their "fill". How is this right? Kids aren't stupid and you get the occasional morale mind but if you're being honest, you know I'm correct. I do feel sorry for people who actually do post the occasional nude arts that are genuinely not about how "nice my tits are" and so forth. I'm on that side or any for that matter that depicts true art but I'm calling the general situation as I see it.

/rant. I hope an admin reads this and gives himself a shake enough to meet with staff about this. Easy cleanup or not, I think this site needs it DESPERATELY
